The Swing of Things Will Have to Wait

What I really wanted to do today was plan out my week, make a grocery list, do some research for some posts, do some writing, get ahead. Maybe even hit up the grocery store. You know, get back into the swing of life after some illness followed by a long weekend with lots of traveling and all that.photo

Instead, I have a 3-year-old who is feverish, tired, and tossing his cookies and an 8-month-old whose world falls apart if I’m not holding it (her) together. And sometimes it (she) falls apart even with all my efforts.

So let’s just scrape by for another day or two, shall we?

Sounds like a plan to me.

Good times, people. Good times.

  1. Love that picture of Squish! Classic. My kids got over some sickness this past week. I kept thinking they were better, but then they would sleep a ton more than usual so I knew they weren’t quite back to normal. It definitely can be frustrating to wait for the swing of things to swing back your way.
