These “notes” are ideas for essays/longer posts. If you see one that you think would make a good essay/post or that you just want to see what I would do with it, please let me know in the comments or in an e-mail! I would love to take on a challenge like that.
I know it’s going to be at least 4 months before I’ll start back into serious training, but I can’t help but think of some of the goals I have for my post-baby running: A sub-3:20 marathon. A sub-20:00 5K. A trail race. I’d love to run a couple of half-marathons. And, of course, I’m looking forward to setting a new personal record in the 10K from whatever time I get in the 10K I’m running next month. I think what it really comes down to is that it’s been a while since I’ve done any speedwork and I’m itching to push myself to the burning point again.
I’m sure my first post-baby run will have me rethinking those goals, but it’s fun to dream.
